Workwear

Workwear is known for its straightforwardness. But times are changing, and those of uncomfortable, itchy pants and formless “Michelin Man” jackets are over. Employers more and more recognise the importance of safe and happy employees and choose for comfortable and stylish workwear en masse.

This increasing focus on the wellbeing and safety of employees has boosted the demand for quality workwear. There’s a high need for garments designed for comfort, durability and performance under all circumstances. Add to this the call for fashionable designs and multi-hazard protection and you’ve got yourself a challenge!

What’s in it for me?

How do you make workwear stand out? First of all, put yourself in the place of the end-users and think about what they need to do their jobs in the most pleasant, safe and comfortable way. Industrial workers, for example, need light-weight clothing that keeps them warm and dry in the outdoors and in industrial spaces, without being compromised in their movements. Staff in the hospitality sector, on the other hand, needs stain repellent workwear that is suited for indoor use specifically. Requirements on quality, style and comfort exceed industry boundaries, though, and should be met at all time. If you want to win over managers and their teams, you should invest in fabrics that provide better durability over time, boost work performance and guarantee safety.

High quality workwear calls for hi-tech fabrics that look and act the part. Our latest innovations in flame retardants and anti-statics offer a significant improvement in protection. Scent neutralising and stain repellent finishes bring greater comfort. And what about insect-proof and temperature circulating finishes for those who work outside? Naturally, all fabrics come with the high-quality and comfort that employees need to excel.

PRECURSOR TANAFINISH HPX

TANA®FINISH HPX is specially developed for hydrodynamic finishes on synthetic fibres, to counter the normally lower wear-comfort of textiles made out of synthetics. TANA®FINISH HPX is useful for e.g. sportswear and other performance apparel, but is also applicable on non-wovens and other technical articles to yield long-lasting absorbency. TANA®FINISH HPX is also effective as soil-releasing finishing for PES fiber and its blends. TANA®FINISH HPX is a special hydrophilic polymer with high affinity to PES fiber. TANA®FINISH HPX forms a hydrophilic protective layer on PES fiber surface which prevents dirt from adhering to fiber and can therefore be easily removed during laundering.

  • Yields excellent absorbency on synthetics, such as 100% PES, 100% PA and their blends
  • Improves the humidity transport of the textile
  • Excellent antistatic and soil-releasing properties of polyester
